 Welcome

Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity (PPHFH) was founded in 1986 as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a worldwide, non-profit ecumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to eliminating poverty housing.

With volunteer labor and tax-deductible donations of money and materials, Habitat builds and rehabilitates simple, decent houses in partnership with the community and prospective homeowners, for the glory of God. Habitat is not a give-away program. Habitat houses are sold to partner families at no profit, and financed with affordable, no-interest loans. The homeowners' monthly mortgage payments go into a revolving "Fund for Humanity" that is used to build more affordable houses.

Through Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity, the Colorado Springs community has built brand-new homes for over 90 low-income families. We work to break the cycle of poverty through homeownership – one family at a time.

Together, we can build lives by building homes.
